Who I am
I'm Patrick Leegte — Dutch, founder of VoidTech Solutions OÜ. My career started on the factory floor: CNC machining at a shipbuilding manufacturer for offshore and dredging vessels, laser cladding at an industrial repair OEM, welding engineering and thermal spraying for clients like Shell and Wärtsilä. I've worked with the machines, the materials, and the people who operate them.
That hands-on foundation is what sets me apart. I don't just understand AI models and software architecture — I understand what breaks on a turbine, why a seal fails, how sensor data behaves in a real plant, and why operators resist change. I build solutions from both ends: from the process up and from the data down.
Today I work with manufacturing, energy, maritime, and maintenance-intensive companies that need more than a strategy deck. They need someone who can walk the plant floor, map the process, design the architecture, and deploy the system.

12+ years of hands-on experience in heavy industry. I learned the trade from the shop floor — welding, machining, assembling. I know what it means to hold tolerances, deliver under pressure, and work with steel.
