Industrial Background
CNC Machining & Precision Engineering
Started as an apprentice at a shipbuilding manufacturer — 4 days on the shop floor, 1 day theory. Learned conventional turning, milling, grinding, and CNC programming on production parts for dredging vessels and offshore installations. Later worked at machine factories on components up to 1200mm diameter, and at an engine workshop on propeller shaft manufacturing and repair for maritime vessels. Also worked at a generator manufacturer on repair and maintenance of large power generation rotors.
Built a custom CNC milling machine from scratch — frame design, electronics, Mach3 control software, and CAM programming in Fusion 360.
