18+ years in asset-intensive manufacturing. A decade hands-on across CNC, laser cladding, welding and thermal spraying — from 2018 onwards focused on process optimisation and ERP/WMS — and since 2024 building production-grade AI for the same workflows.
Who I am
I'm Patrick Leegte — Dutch, founder of VoidTech Solutions OÜ. My career started on the factory floor: CNC machining at a shipbuilding manufacturer for offshore and dredging vessels, laser cladding at an industrial repair OEM, welding engineering and thermal spraying for clients including Shell and Wärtsilä. I've worked with the machines, the materials and the people who operate them.
2018 was the turning point. As Technical Manager at De Zwaan Metaal I moved a paper-driven machine shop onto a digitised ERP, restructuring how the business captured technical data. From 2022 at Lagersmit Sealing Solutions I led an end-to-end WMS go-live with zero production downtime, a phased warehouse rebuild during live operations, and authored the process automation roadmap.
Since 2024 I founded VoidTech Solutions OÜ to apply that same process foundation to AI. Multi-agent platforms, RAG pipelines, predictive maintenance — built for real industrial workflows, not slide-deck theory. I don't just understand AI models. I understand what breaks on a turbine, why a seal fails, how sensor data behaves in a real plant, and why operators resist change.

Industrial Foundation
Eleven years hands-on in heavy industry. From CNC apprentice at IHC Smith Kinderdijk to Application Specialist at Castolin. I learned the trade from the shop floor — the tolerances, the materials, the people.
